This bridge, and its neighbor, the Island Park Rail Bridge serve an industrial spur to the Doty Paper Mill, and have similar designs.
Built in 1910, this bridge is a 8 span deck girder over the North Channel of the Fox River in Neenah. It is supported by steel pile piers with a lateral beam, and concrete abutments.
Currently, the bridge is used very little. It serves the paper mill on the island.
Previously however, the bridge served as the C&NW mainline from Green Bay to Janesville.
Overall, the bridge remains in poor condition. Severe corrosion has begun to destroy the girders. Its future is uncertain if the paper mill goes out of business.

The author has ranked the bridge as being locally significant, due to common design.
